Strategic Planning

Strategic planning is an organisation’s process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.

The danger for any organisation is to embrace the incrementalist approach to business strategy. This looks at the financial position of a company and adds a predetermined percentage for growth.

We take a pragmatic approach to business, providing advisory services to Trustees for the future direction of the company, where it is at the present time, and the steps to get there. The resulting document is called the“strategic plan”.
